AXL ROSE

Axl was born in Lafayette, Indiana, eldest son of Sharon, age 16, and William Bruce Rose, 20 years old. When Rose was two years old his father abandoned him and his family. Years later his mother married Stephen L. Bailey, and his name was changed to William Bruce Bailey. He has two brothers, a younger sister, Amy, and half brother, Stuart. Until the age of 17 years, Rose believed that Bailey was his real father. He never knew his biological father, who was murdered in Illinois in 1984.

The Bailey family was very religious. Rose and her family attended a Pentecostal Church, where he was forced to attend three to eight times a week. Rose later described his education as oppressive. He once said: "I was not allowed to listen to music, women would not let me know, everything was wrong." In 1992, after undergoing therapy past life regression, Rose said he had found memories of being sexually abused by her biological father at the age of two years. He also stated that his stepfather had physically abused him and his brothers and his sister sexually. Rose sang from an early age. He sang in the church choir at age five, and performed in the service with his brother and sister under the name of Bailey Trio. He attended Jefferson High School, participated in the school choir and studied piano. After the authorities threatened to charge him with Lafayette as a habitual offender, Rose moved to Los Angeles, California in December 1982. 

He is a singer, songwriter and musician best known for being the singer of American band Guns N 'Roses, with whom he had great success in the late 1980's and early 1990, before disappearing from public view for several years. To appear in 2001 with a new lineup of Guns N 'Roses at the House of Blues in Las Vegas and later made ​​tours and concerts before releasing the album called Chinese Democracy in 2008.
