Guns n 'Roses
Guns n 'Roses, American rock band, regarded as the last band that public opinion, made the slogan "sex, drugs and rock and roll" their way of life. Her provocative image and aggressive texts were always a source of scandal in the United States. Especially during the early years many voices were raised demanding censorship to his work.


The two members on which rested the band were guitarist Slash, born in 1965 in the UK as Saul Hudson and singer Axl Rose, born in 1962 in the U.S. with the name of William Bill Bailey. The group, which combines elements of hard rock with punk rock, was formed in mid 1980 in Los Angeles. In 1987, their debut album Appetite for Destruction, which in the U.S. alone sold eight million copies. His later albums, Use Your Illusion I and II (both published in 1991) and The Spaghetti Incident? (1993), met similar success.

Guns N 'Roses is an American hard rock band that formed in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California in 1985. The group, led by the leader and founder of the band Axl Rose has gone through numerous line changes and controversy since its inception. The current lineup features vocalist Axl Rose (as the only original member), with guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, DJ Ashba and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman . The band officially released six studio albums, three EPs, a live album and a compilation.


The band has sold over 195 million albums worldwide, 2 3 including more than 80.5 million albums in the United States.4 The album Appetite for Destruction in 1987 has sold over 60 million copies around the world and reached number one on the Billboard 200 in America. In addition, four songs from the album entered the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Sweet Child o 'Mine and Welcome to the Jungle" which reached number 5.1 His 1988 album GN' R Lies has sold more 13 million copies worldwide and his song "Patience" entered the Top 5 of Billboard Hot 100 and the album reached number two on the Billboard 200. The twin albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II in 1991, rose to number 2 and 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively, maintained for 108 weeks, with a combined sales of 35 million copies and 14 million level mundial6 copies sold in the U.S. alone, 7 six of the singles from both albums reached the Billboard Hot 100 and four of them entered the Top 10 of the same list, (two of them at number 1). His next album would be the versions of punk and glam songs of 1993 entitled The Spaghetti Incident?, Which broke off three singles, one of which entered the Billboard Hot 100 and two entered the greatest hits compilation, the album peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and number two on the UK Album Chart. During the period when the band returned to the stage with new musicians came out two albums, one live entitled Live Era: '87-'93 in 1999 and another called Greatest Hits compilation in 2004 that although the band was negative to the output of the album, was a huge commercial success (it has sold nearly 6 million copies in the United States and 13 million copies worldwide), reached number one in the UK album chart and three on the Billboard 200, was 138 weeks on the Billboard 200.8 After a decade of work and problems with former members in court, the band released their next album, Chinese Democracy, in 2008, which to date has sold 22 million copies, been published three singles, and one of them entered the Billboard Hot 100 and two on the Mainstream Rock Tracks, and the album reached number three on the Billboard 200 and number two on the UK Album Chart.


In the late eighties and early nineties have been described by the music industry as the period in which GN 'R' took a hedonistic rebelliousness and revived the punk attitude-driven hard rock with references from the first The Rolling Stones albums
